2011 deserved it's own title, so I've given it one. After years of being stuck in a rut, things seem to be going not so bad, Goodness seems to be shining down on me.
I am currently Artist-in-Residence in Offaly. I have set up my own glass studio there and I am loving it. Since I have no pictures to upload, or download or whatever just yet, I'll try to keep this short.
I have also been awarded a grant from the Arts Council, shortlised for the Crafts Council's Future Maker Award, and I am closer to getting my website functional. I'm hoping to travel to Corning, NY again this year to attend a FlameOff, and perhaps Seattle to attend the Glass Art Society's Conference, but I'll have to see how my funds hold up!
I have made it through Lent, without chocolate, and just generally I'm feeling in a good headspace. I have a few exhibitions to organise for, and life is good.
